My sister Debbie Cook took pictures at the Memorial Service for Jim in the Chapel at the Nelsen Funeral Home. It took me a while to get them put up, but here they are:
I hope you enjoy the pictures of the tables for the Memorial Service for Jim.
The main table has the 18″x24″ picture of Jim with the Thomas Campbell quote on it with two stuffed animals (a bunny and a puppy) that I bought for Jim on Easter and his birthday one year. The main table also had the centerpiece I made to hold Jim’s remains in a oak urn. The centerpiece is a depiction of a mountain scene where the sun is shining after some rain overnight; in the mountain road puddles there are many blue and black Diana butterflies. To bring in that feeling, I got some small river James River rocks, some clear acrylic glaze and some butterflies. My brother, JC Bunker beveled out the area where the rocks and puddle created with the clear acrylic glaze would go and the area where the flowers and ferns holder would go, and the butterflies flying around. The oak urn and the base around the puddle had green vines/leaves. I used moss around the holder for the ferns and flowers.
